I am so excited! We use fresh herbs all the time and I have been wanting to grow my own! I was able to find Basil, Oregano, and Rosemary.
The super funny thing is this….they are currently sitting in our bedroom window with the door closed.
I realize that seems a bit unusual, but when you have a cat who loves eating and destroying all your plants, you have got to be creative. Don’t let her cuteness fool you…. 😉
❤ our kitty!
I just put down seeds for basil and cilantro and can’t wait for them to grow. Looking forward to see what you make with these herbs, Lori! Your cat is sooo cute.

Thanks Ngan! We sure love her, even though she likes to get in trouble from time to time. 😉
That is so fun that you just planted seeds for them! I really want to grow my own cilantro because I use it practically daily! 🙂 I don’t know much about planting and growing herbs though.

I didn’t either, so my attempts go like this: dirt, seeds, dirt, water, greenhouse window, and presto, herbs! 🙂 I just follow the directions on the back of the seed packet and it’s worked for 2 years running now!

Oh that is so true… I saw a photo recently which says, you can have plants OR a cat. Not both.
Definitely. 🙂

Oh good! Growing your own herbs is so rewarding! I love it when I have to run out back with a pair of scissors to collect fresh herbs for a recipe. And really….they taste so much better than store bought. Silly cats.

Okay, I must be honest Jhuls! I did not grow those….just bought them already grown! Does that make you feel any better!? 😉 We will see if they are still beautiful after I have had my hands on them for a few weeks…hehehe. Our cat’s name is Calle (sounds like Callie). She is a tortie….love her beautiful coloring! Thanks for thinking she is cute! 🙂

That is so awesome Lori growing your own – what fun, isn’t it? Why don’t you put them in the spare room window so Calle can have her room back, she just won’t be able to sleep in the spare room. ROFLOL Can’t help but love our kitties 🙂

I love it! They actually are in the spare room now, but Calle still can’t have her room back. She has peed on the bed too many times….we don’t want to have to go through that whole process again. 🙂 Yep, can’t help but love them!
